Dieses Mitglied der LiPPERT-Thunderbird-Familie ist mit einer Vielzahl von Multi-Media-Schnittstellen ausgestattet und bietet dabei große Rechenleistung. Designer von high-end Multi-Media-Geräten erhalten damit eine hochwertige Komponente, mit der sehr schnelle Entwicklungszeiten möglich werden. Das Board unterstützt die Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition ebenso wie Linux, wodurch die flexible Softwareauswahl garantiert ist.
Der Thunderbird/MM (MM steht für Multi-Media) kommt mit einem stromsparenden Pentium M 745-Prozessor und ist mit 1,8 GHz getaktet. Das integrierte Digital-Video-Interface (DVI) erlaubt den Einsatz von hochauflösenden LCD-Schirmen. Das Interface des Audiosystem arbeitet ohne Qualitätsverlust mit digitalen S/PDIF Signalen, optionla auch mit Glasfiberkabeln. Es unterstützt sechs 18-Bit-Kanäle.
Zwei FireWire- (IEEE1394) Schnittstellen ermöglichen den Anschluß externer Festplatten oder Kameras. Ein eingebauter Mini-PCI-Slot läßt sich entweder mit WIFI-Karten oder bei LiPPERT erhältlichen Spezialmodulen bestücken.

Thunderbird/MM: Downloads
We support our customers with BIOS binaries and all kinds of drivers for our embedded X86 boards. Usually, there's at least support for Windows and Linux. Some selected boards are also supported with drivers for real time operating systems.Check the table state below for the list of drivers and the current BIOS version. Please contact our support if the required driver is not listed on this web site.
BIOS loader
To burn the BIOS binary into your module's Flash PROM, there is a universal loader program available that works with most of our single bard computers. This tool requires DOS to run.
