The Cool RoadRunner-Atom is now Cool RoadRunner-945GSE!
Introduced at the Embedded World 2009 show, the Cool RoadRunner-Atom now got a new name due to trademark issues. From now on, it is named Cool RoadRunner-945GSE, a name that reflects the chipset used on this versatile PC/104-Plus Embedded PC board.
The Cool RoadRunner-945GSE delivers high computing performance yet consumes only little power. Its Atom N270 processor at 1.6GHz makes it especially suitable for low-power, mobile embedded devices. It features 2GB soldered RAM, VGA, LVDS, HD audio, LAN, USB, flexible serial interfaces, 2 SATA ports, and 2GB solid state disk.

LiPPERTs Advanced Computer on Module CoreExpress-ECO ist jetzt auch mit vollständiger Softwareunterstützung für Windows CE 6.0 erhältlich. Der Evaluierungskit kann mit einem auf Microsofts embedded Betriebssystem zugeschnittenen Board Support Package geordert werden. LiPPERT Embedded Computers bietet für das CoreExpress-ECO Evaluationskit jetzt auch Board-Support-Packages für Windows CE 6.0 an. Das Windows CE-BSP ermöglicht das direkte Starten von Microsofts embedded Betriebssystem von einer Festplatte. Der sonst übliche Zwischenschritt über DOS ist nicht mehr nötig, wodurch die Boot-Zeiten merklich verringert werden. Das BSP deckt all Funktionen des CoreExpress-ECO ab. Dazu gehören 1280x800 Grafikausgabe auf LVDS, Audio, Ethernet, serielle Schnittstellen, USB und SD Card-Unterstützung. Die vollständige Dokumentation zur Installation und Betrieb auf verschiedenen IDE-Geräten wird mitgeliefert.
