The integrated graphics controller handles graphics up to 1920x1440 pixels, which can be displayed using either VGA LVDS, or TFT interfaces. Two AC97 audio channels enable multi media applications.
The Cool LiteRunner-LX800 is delivered with 256 MB soldered down DDR-RAM. As for interfaces, available are: Two Ethernet LAN, four USB 2.0 host ports, three flexibly configurable serial interfaces. The parallel printer port, eight programmable GPIO signals, and the I²C bus can be used for custom purposes.
Storage devices are connected using the integrated Ultra-ATA port. Additionally, a CompactFlash slot is available, which, among other cards, can hold Solid State devices.
The board's functionality can be extended using the PC/104 (ISA) bus. A Mini-PCI slot can hold standard modules like WLAN cards.
The power consumption of the fully equipped board is around 7 watts. The Cool LiteRunner-LX800 is designed for operation in the industrial temperature range of -20 °C…+60 °C. Optionally, variants for the extended temperature range of -40 °C…+85 °C are available.
The Cool LiteRunner-LX800 is comes with LiPPERT Enhanced Management Technology. Its functions are implemented using an integrated microcontroller. Among them are house-keeping functions like power sequencing and utility functions for the application, like write/delete-secured Flash memory and various system counters that can be used for condition monitoring.
The Cool LiteRunner-LX800 runs under Windows XP, XP Embedded, Windows CE, Linux und QNX.
