Der Cool XpressRunner-GS45 ist gegenwärtig das schnellste erhältliche PCI/104-Express Prozessor Modul. Er bringt den Intel Core 2 Duo Prozessor und den Mobile GS45 Chipset in den Embedded PC Markt.
Der CPU-Clock von 2,26 GHz, zusammen mit dem 1066 MHz Frontsidebus liefern bisher unbekannte Performance. Das Board kommt mit 1 Gigabyte aufgelötetem DDR3-1066 RAM.
Der Chipsatz besitzt einen integrierten GMA4500 Grafikprozessor. Monitore können über VGA oder dual channel LVDS Interfaces angeschlossen werden. High Definition Audio mit analogen und digitalen Ein- und Ausgängen sind verfügbar.
Ein Gigabit LAN port, 8 USB 2.0 Host Ports und zwei serielle Schnittstellen für entweder RS232 oder RS485 komplettieren die Hardwaremöglichkeiten.
Der Cool XpressRunner-GS45 verwendet LiPPERT Enhanced Management Technology, (LEMT) deren Funktionen von einem integrierten System Management Controller gehandelt werden. LEMT kümmert sich um Verwaltungsaufgaben wie die korrekte Einschaltreihenfolge der Spannungen oder den Watchdog. Außerdem stellt sie für die Anwendung nützliche Funktionen bereit. Darunter ist ein sicherer, schreib- und löschgeschützter Flash-Bereich, der für Sicherheitsanwendungen verwendet werden kann.
Alle Varianten des Cool XpressRunner-GS45 sind für Umbegungstemperaturen -20°C...+60°C ausgelegt. Die 1,2 GHz Variante ist optional auch für den erweiterten Temperaturbereich von -40°C...+85°C erhältlich.
Der Cool XpressRunner eignet sich für mobile Anwendungen mit hohem Bedarf an Rechenleistung. Durch den optional unterstützten extremen Temperaturbereich ist das Board optimal für den Außeneinsatz verwendbar.

Cool XpressRunner-Gs45: Downloads
We support our customers with BIOS binaries and all kinds of drivers for our embedded X86 boards. Usually, there's at least support for Windows and Linux. Some selected boards are also supported with drivers for real time operating systems.Check the table state below for the list of drivers and the current BIOS version. Please contact our support if the required driver is not listed on this web site.
BIOS loader
To burn the BIOS binary into your module's Flash PROM, there is a universal loader program available that works with most of our single bard computers. This tool requires DOS to run.
